Day 228: ‘Columbus’ — Parentified Children, Portraiture, and Significance

I recently saw Columbus, admittedly for the superficial, solipsistic reason of supporting fellow handsome Asian-American John Cho in a rare dramatic role that’s winning a lot of critical acclaim. I came away from the film challenged and with much to ponder, especially three points.
